Premier places fiber optic technology in Spirit Lake
Sioux Center, IA. – April 20, 2022 – Premier Communications, the leader in voice, video and data communications services for Northwest Iowa, is excited to announce plans to install fiber-to-the-premise in Spirit Lake, IA. This investment is part of Premier’s commitment to provide customers with state-of-the-art communications technology.
Seeing a need in the community of Spirit Lake, Premier Communications plans to build a dedicated fiber optic network throughout the entire community. Fiber is a future-proof technology and the best method to provide Internet speeds in excess of 1 Gigabit per second, in addition to providing crystal-clear digital voice and digital TV services.

This $15 million investment will allow Premier to offer the latest products and services at the fastest speeds to the entire community. This project will happen in 2 phases. Phase 1 – the northeast section of Spirit Lake – will begin in the second quarter of 2022, with Phase 2 construction to follow.
