Watch the 2026 Winter Olympics, February 6-22

The 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics will feature more than 3,000 athletes representing 90 countries, 116 medal events in 16 sports. This year marks the debut of ski mountaineering or "skimo."

The Games will once again be broadcast by NBC and its affiliates. NBC television coverage begins with some preliminary events before the official Opening Ceremony on Friday, Feb. 6, with primetime coverage on NBC running through the closing ceremony in the Verona Olympic Arena on Sunday, Feb. 22. This year's Opening Ceremony will add a new multi-centered approach. While the main ceremony will take place at San Siro Olympic stadium, athletes, spectators and local communities across Italy will be brought into the celebration with multiple athlete parades and two separate Olympic cauldrons.

TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie and NBC Sports legend Terry Gannon will host coverage of the Milan Cortina Opening Ceremony. They will be joined by three-time Olympic snowboarding champion Shaun White in the broadcast booth for the Parade of Nations at San Siro Stadium. NBC Olympics primetime host Mike Tirico will contribute to the Opening Ceremony coverage from northern California, as he prepares to call Super Bowl LX that Sunday.

Make sure your TV and streaming setup is ready for all the Olympic action, so you’ll be set to enjoy all of the action.
